Crazysales Australia Review

crazy sales australia failNow i’m all for online companies in fact i buy very little from offline retailers because everything is three times the price. Sydney, Australia is so damn expensive that if you want something nice you need to take out a loan.

Anyway ive just set up a home office at home and i scored a nice little desk from eBay for $150 which i thought was a bargain! Picked up the desk and set up my computers (Cheering!). Next on my list was a printer, eBay again bang had a great printer that scanned, copied and printed, everything i needed in a printer.

My next purchase was a chair, i thought to myself i’d get a really nice chair that was comfortable, elegant and it would boost my productivity. My source again was eBay. I thought id been lucky with the last few purchases so why not? I chose out a nice chair that looks fantastic in the photos, seemed like the description was well written so i proceeded to purchase the chair.

I received a email a few days later from a company called Crazy Sales stating my order was processing. I thought this was weird as i was unaware that the chair purchase was from Crazy Sales and there was no information on the email so i wrote to them saying i never purchased anything from their store. I received an email the next day stating my item would be shipped, never received a reply to my email.

Anyway chair arrived, had a mate help out as i have a bad back and it’s a struggle putting things like this together, he followed the instructions carefully as he knows i want everything done right. The chair was put together and to be honest it didn’t look to bad i thought it would be okay.

I then went to sit on it boy was that a blunder, the bottom of the chair where the screws go in are made of chipboard so if you lean back it makes a creaking sound like the chipboard is breaking. I felt unsafe.

I also noticed that the chair moves back and forth and left and right, it had to have been faulty that or the chair is just a prime example of crap.

I emailed crazy sales on ebay and advised them of the issues with it told them i want someone to pick it up and refund my money. I’m old fashioned, i believe if it’s a companies fault they should pick it up and refund me, i’m not in the market to waste my time over this stuff.

Anyway i got an email back the next day telling me i needed to send them photos and videos of the chair’s problems. I was annoyed. I don’t do that stuff, you sent me a faulty chair, come pick the shit up and refund me my money – end of story. But no they want photos/videos. Well luckily paypal was in play not that they always go on the buyers side buy i think they will in this case as the item arrived faulty, i didn’t tamper with it, i had a mate who is a professional handyman do this for me.

Let’s see how they go but so far Crazy Sales service has been terrible, they use generic emails which is annoying as shit and they won’t come to a solution to help out a customer. Personally it’s online companies like this that give the reputable online companies a bad name.

Guys not all online retailers are this bad, whilst i recommended staying away from these guys you can still get some decent bargains online from reputable companies.
